For the last 5 years I have been working in a special educational needs school, I started teaching art to large groups of pupils, then progressing to one to one based work, using art as a therapy to support pupils emotional well-being alongside a Therapy team, including a Counsellor , Music Therapist and Thrive based team.

I completed the Foundation of Art Therapists course to support the role, but also used a number of techniques and methods such as Play Therapy to support varying levels of educational and learning difficulties.  Pupils range from 8 years to 18 years.
